So the exams are over and I hope that soon I will know the results. Meanwhile my EVE business are growing nicely and as far as I can tell they will grow even more because me and a friend plan to open a trade hub in a null sec region but we still think about it so no more news on that.
Most items that I trade are now faction modules or tech 3 cruisers' subsystems and I can make more or less than 20% profit on each with some having really good margins like 50%. I use an assault frigate for hauling and even I know that it is risky, I prefer to have them in Dodixie as soon as possible plus I am not paying any transport taxes so yes, for me it's good to personally haul.
In terms of blogging I was a bit less active because nothing interesting happened, just numbers and some weird discussions and a lot of stress from exams but no action beside Jita's undocking.
I will soon rejoin Faction Warfare as my skills are high enough to PVP properly but I am thinking of selling that alt for like 2bil and invest in main, will see thought.
For now this is all (that rhyme), see you in game,

I want to name my Fedo!
As you may (or may not) know, i have little to no time to actually play EVE so i only do trading. Until now i have like 400mil in sell orders in hisec, other 100mil in Providence (i want to bring them to hisec too) and almost 70mil on buy orders in hisec (5mil liquid at the momment of writing this).
But i started to think about the period of after this period, when i will have time to do a lot more, and by searching the market i found two very interesting things: Hound Slave and Fedo. By reading the description of them, they seem to be like a pet so i bought 1 of each and start to think about what i can do with them beside to reput them on market and pray to make profit.
After a bit of thinking i found the answer: I will go on adventures with them! Already had a gas harvest ship ready to be undocked so i put the two little guys in the cargo, and tryed to rename them but... i couldn't. I know that there are more important aspects of the game that should be improved but i really want to be able to name my mods and items that i own (e.g: i'd name a Fedo like "Heisenberg" or a gun like "Spitfire"), so i'd be even more hurt when i lost a ship that cost more than half of my wallet.
Hope that in a day i will be able to shoot guys when having "Heisenberg" in cargo...

To TierV and beyond!
Militia often do fleets of all kind, mostly for capturing plexes or for bashing iHubs (we almost hit t5 and our LP income is greatly increased by this). For me, first type of fleets is more interesting as we actually may have a bit of PvP and i have a chance. This type of fleet we did this morning and it went very well for me as i got my first two kills ever in EVE, here are they:
Of course i couldn't take the Garmur just by myself but the Inquisitor could be an easy target at it wasn't even fitted. Speaking of FW, i think i will haul (or get someone to haul) the stuff i buy from LP store to Jita so as it will sell a lot faster (even if i make a little profit)
PS: So far i made more than 150mil from FW with a 1 and 1/2 weeks old character, i love FW!

When you help somebody...
I am new to EVE compared to guys that play from the beggining so i ask a lot of questions, what i should fit here?, should i go there? etc but also i am a bit more experienced than newbros and i have a lot of fun teaching them.
Yesterday, a guy that joined AirHogs a day ago (ISKHogs - FW part of AirHogs) and that didn't knew what FW involve (he was poded in hisec with most of his items), wanted to quit the corp. I asked him why and he said that those things (PvP) are far more late in game than he is (he has like 1.5mil sp).
We then begun a conversation about how to get money and have fun doing FW, a conversation that lasted almost 3 hours! But it was my best time in EVE so far, i brought him to Rens, explained how to fit a ship for PvP (an Incursus for the moment), how to choose what system to do plexes as a noob and at the end of conversation i gave him like 30mil for future fits and he was very thankful.
The feeling that you helped somebody is just awesome and i say that all veterans should help the noobs if they have time to do it properly.

Do you barge, bro?
Some guys like to break the meta and to be creative about PvP, one of those guys is Leo07 that came with a Procurer (yes, a Procurer) fit which pretty much fucked anything that you will encounter in a FW battle. Below are some of his best preys (and two loses, but the fit pays of in my opinion), really impresive!
In the end here is Leo's message for newbros in PVP: "anything is possible when you believe in yourself". Thanks Leo!

Bashing the Hubs
In FW to get a higher tier (and more LP then) you need to bash the infrastructure hub (IHub) of a system that has been 100% contested. The mission seems easy as the IHub doesn't shoot back, but when the IHub has a shit ton of hit points, you are in a time race, with many war targets in system the mission is a bit harder.
So far i was in just 2 IHub bashing fleets, one of them was succesful as we destroyed the IHub, and the other was less succesful because we had less than 30 minutes to destroy the structure (downtime was close) and we didn't had too much damage so we gave up and planned to do it after the downtime but i couldn't be there again, i will ask in millitia channel if we got it or no.
It's very interesting to be in one of these fleets (or any fleets at all), as you feel you are part of something and you can make a difference, but my Rifter is pretty low in damage for an IHub bashing fleet, so i guess i will train for a destroyer (Thrasher, Catalyst or Cormorant probably).
My FW alt is doing pretty good with the navy cap boosters and with 1 type of implants but the rest of items have pretty though competition, i want to spread my selling list so i am not bounded in only 5-10 items.

Damn white paper
I promised an update about my trading project but i was to lazy to write it at the time so here it is: Below are my items that i try to sell, the results of last few days (not bad but it could be much better if the items would traffic faster) and a very interesting item (that Pyth X-Type shield) which i could make a lot of money, but the competition is pretty thought. In this rate i expect to make 1-2 billions until my PLEX expires. So far i aim for medium to low volume items that can bring a bigger profit even if i need to wait a bit for it.
On my FW alt, i still research for good items to buy with LP as i aim for +1500 ISK/LP rate, so far i have like 70-75 millions in some items but with 120 000 LP left i need to buy more so i expect somewhere between 150-300 millions if i use all of LP.

Horrible days
Three horrible days in which i lost more than 100 millions. All started 3 days ago, when i did a fleet with a friend with the purpose to plex higher stuff. I had a Firetail that worth like +20mil (i miss fitted some modules so i was keep losing ISK because that) while i tried to help my fleet friend but Succubus + Hawk hit hard. Then i tried some Slasher/Breacher fits but they were horrible or i didn't know/had the skills to use them properly. The Condor fit was preety good as a tackle one but my damage was just too low to destroy even the NPC, i was bored and i just went yolo on somebody. The next fit, a Rifter was pretty good actually as i managed to almost destroy a Slasher with t2 fit, but he was faster than me and escaped, just to return later and destroy me because i was at half shields and alt+tabbed. Further fits were either destroyed in gate camps or by my retardism (when i was podded i lost a 50mil clone). Here are the killmails, don't hate too much.
PS: I am in a Firetail again, and just as an information, my first offensive plex have been done in a Firetail, i start to love this ship.

Factional Warfare: actually profitable?
Never though that FW can be so profitable, and more important, never thought that a 150k skill point character can do it profitable. Well it is. You can go to do FW as soon as you start the game (i recommend to do the career agents as they give you basic skills and some ships) and still make a lot of ISK. In 3 hours i managed to get 82k LP so +/- 82mil (if 1 LP = 1000 ISK) and lost like 10mil in ships before i was able to fit properly a ship and don't die like a sheep. For a 2 days old character this means a lot as it can be done almost safely. Also you can go in many fleets with your alliance and learn how to PvP properly, and also the training for t2 fit (frigate) is probably less than a month.
As Markee showed in many streams, you can make more than 1.5bil a week by FW, just need to buy the good items from LP store (search on his channel for this kind of tutorial).
If you want to play EVE, make an account on this link, subscribe for a month or more and if i get a PLEX i will give you half of it's price in that day (more or less than 400mil) or if i get 30 days of game time, i will give you 40 millions (enough to start doing FW and earn a lot more).
LE: I got killed by a Hawk and a Succubus, at least my pod escaped...

Fighting for freedom!
I watch MarkeeDragon pretty much every time i have time. He is a nice guy, he has some good tips, and he brought me to FW, well his videos, that proved me that PVP is a funny thing and can bring hell a lot of money. So i decided to start an alt with my buddy invite link, send him some money for a PLEX and a bit more for some ships and skills.
Minmatar this time
In both real life and video games i prefer to be the "good guy", and as i was a proud Gallente member with both my main and other alt, i decided that i should be Minmatar this time. I liked the idea that Gallente were "freedom guys", I wasn't too much into Caldary (i enjoy missiles thought), and i hate Ammar for practising slaves trades so Minmantar seemed to be the right chose.
My FW alt is named "Pierre Vailant" (reference to Lupan Anton, some might know), i made him thinking about a young hope that can bring freedom for Minmantar forever. Let's get into game.
Rens and Thrashers
I choosed Rens as main base because it was the nearest trading hub (didn't check Hek) and there i could buy/sell things faster.
On my first attempt to defensive plex, in Amanake, 2 Thrashers were camping the gate and could instalock me, 2 shoots and i was dust. Next try, i bought another Rifter, planned to avoid Amanake, i didn't and almost died but i was able to warp this time. Once in a good Minmatar system, i warped at a large plex, and waited, checking the dscan as the system wasn't so quiet.
I had a bad headache so i couldn't stay too long and didn't focused too much either. In this time, a guy in a Prowler (i though Prowler = good pvp ship, it was a fucking industrial) was baiting me, so i had to warp on and off the plex so many times that i chose to log off.
Later on i managed to do a plex (i got 5775 LP for 10mins of work), and i could do more if a guy could stop to hunt my 3mil Rifter in an Astero. I tricked him a bit, but i was talking to an AirHogs recruiter, i forgot to dock and the guy in Astero got me near a planet.
So far i plan to train my skills more, so i can offensive plex to earn more money (and to win fights). More will come!

What I've learned from EVE
As many games, EVE learn you something, a bit more than other I'd say. In almost 5 months in New Eden and i want to share with you what I've learnt in this time. Firstly i need to say that for many of you, 5 months are literally nothing but for me it was a very interesting period. So, what I've learnt from EVE:
Time is gold - you need to have patience for things to work, you can't and you shouldn't hurry if you don't know what to do. You can speed up the skill queue in EVE only by remapping or by purchasing implants, but you should know what are you doing before spending hundreds of millions on implants or before you throw away the remaps.
Use your brain - you have one, you should use it. Scams, gate camps, pursuits, reverse psychology
and a lot more. All of these are in EVE and if you will won't think twice before you do anything then your wallet and clone may be in danger.
Trust no one - if you don't know him in real life (and even then) just try to be sceptical to everyone and everything in New Eden. After some months/years with some players you could trust them but remember, there were some big thief in EVE that took years of trust. This works in real life too.
Best ship is friendship - this may interfere with the above, as i said to trust nobody in this game, but you can't be alone in this game (nor in life), solo you are a free target, but in a corporation and in an alliance, you can do big things. Example: past days, my alliance, Tide Elemental did a pretty large fleet (large for me) of more than 450 ships in a try to take a SBU. I tried to fly with them but sadly, i couldn't stay until the action begun, but i watched Daopa's stream (link on "Link list" > right part of the blog) and it was a pretty big fight. Next day i've found that we got the SBU. Starcade was my second corporation and i stayed there just because i had guys (and Kiarla) to talk with, they were helpful and accepted a noob. You need those type of guys in EVE and life.
You can succeed in anything - you just need to have goals and stick to them.
That's most that i learnt from playing EVE, of course i didn't write about small things, it would be worthless.
More next time!
