I've been pausing my EVE activity due to lack of interest to farm and learn in same time. Now I am free as a bird, and I really want to build an Empire. Again, by trading. I am really interested in understanding the market and how I can manipulate it so here is my setup for this new (and stupid) attempt: after purchasing a PLEX, I have 56 mil to work with, I made a loan request on forum (doubt it will fill thought) and search for some specific items, the requirements for each item will be below.
Now, the goal is to be able to PLEX at the end of the month and still have some assets on market (probably around 3 or 4 billions in total i guess). If the loan would fill, this will be much easier but I can't rely on that.
I really think that I can succed and as my mouse is retard and can't work fine, I can play only EVE, also I may write some fiction (no promises though). See you in game.
The requirements for my items: relatively slow traffic (20-100 units/day), good profit (+20% so I can undercut) and to be not masive (to fit in an Ishkur).

I did it!
So the exams are over and I hope that soon I will know the results. Meanwhile my EVE business are growing nicely and as far as I can tell they will grow even more because me and a friend plan to open a trade hub in a null sec region but we still think about it so no more news on that.
Most items that I trade are now faction modules or tech 3 cruisers' subsystems and I can make more or less than 20% profit on each with some having really good margins like 50%. I use an assault frigate for hauling and even I know that it is risky, I prefer to have them in Dodixie as soon as possible plus I am not paying any transport taxes so yes, for me it's good to personally haul.
In terms of blogging I was a bit less active because nothing interesting happened, just numbers and some weird discussions and a lot of stress from exams but no action beside Jita's undocking.
I will soon rejoin Faction Warfare as my skills are high enough to PVP properly but I am thinking of selling that alt for like 2bil and invest in main, will see thought.
For now this is all (that rhyme), see you in game,

Lesson learnt
As I said in a few posts, my trading project is doing good, in every day or even two times a day, I have at least 100-200mil to respend on new items. Usually I fly to Jita to buy the stuff and come back in Dodixie to sell them for a nice profit. Today the same happened: woke up with 160mil to spend, wen to Jita, in my Atron, bough some shiny stuff and this happened at undock:
The suicide ganker was pretty much praying for a good prey because he wouldn't have the time to scan me even if (s)he had instalock because I could warp in less than four seconds. (S)He just randomly chose the easiest target and fire. No problem, I should used insta undock bookmark and it would be OK. Well, I still have more than 900mil in Dodixie, ready to be sold and reused but it may take a day or two. Until then, I have a lesson learnt and I will think twice before using an Atron for hauling hundreds of millions.

Sweet market grinding
From almost nothing i managed to get up to almost a billion (920mil) in sell orders. It's good but sometimes it's an awful waiting in which you may get lost. I have maybe another week in which i am locked to marketing and then i will see if i will continue with that or move to ratting or anything else.
In the time that i am marketing, i also watch Breaking Bad (good serial by the way), chatting with alliance/corp/other chats or played other games, it makes it enjoyable. Ah, i also learn in that time.
Now, i have a question for you guys, should i write some fan-fiction about EVE? Let your opinions here or in game. Fly safe!

Market opportunity?
Below is what i think that "market opportunity" means: a relatively high volume item don't have enough supply and by checking the item's price history i see that there was a high order filled. I though a bit and decided to buy first 2 orders and resell them at 1.5mil. I know that i will be undercut but that's why i chose 1.5mil as starting point so i have from what to cut. I hope in a ~25 to 50% profit overall.
Also i invested in other items that i think will worth, gonna see if they sell fast enough.

YOU can do it!
All over the Internet i see guys complaining that EVE is too complex, or too boring or "spreadsheet simulator". I can agree if the game bores you but i can't agree that it's too complex, you need to watch some videos, do the fucking tutorial and use the thing that is called "brain" (i said this earlier too). With almost no help (of course, i asked here and there but most time i was by myself), i made 1bil in my first 3 weeks, solo, and i had a hell lot of fun.
At the moment i don't think there is any game like EVE, in which you can do whatever the fuck you want. If you want to make ISK and don't have time, you can: spend like 1h a day (like croda) and play the markets or go explore solo. If you have time, you can do incursions, ratting. If you want a bit more technical, you do industry, and if you have a lot of time but you need to afk, you mine. That's it, you can make a lot of money in a lot of ways, you need to use your fucking brain and (like markeedragon said) if you can succeed in EVE you can succeed in life.
I will write some tutorials on how you can make money, just need to think at them. More to come!

THE FUCK!?
I was exploring like all time, when i see a new WH: i go there, activate it, scan the sigs, sell the hisec entrance for a bit of money, and then the power cut off (i was i a safespot). When i came back, SURPRISE! i am in a pod. 'The fuck happened? Where is my fucking ship? THE FUCK?!', i check the killmails and SURPRISE! a fucking drifter killed me. 'I was i a safespot, i should be safe even if i'd emergency jump (that happens when you don't log off safely)' i though, and went to ask on chat channels for help, most suggesting to write a support ticket, i did it. When i ask on the channel where i sold the entrance, the buyer says that, SURPRISE!, he found my wreck near a combat anomaly (he was killed too).
I don't ask for reimbursement, even if that ships had a cargo that probably could safe my PLEX, no, i ask for answers: why the fuck i was killed when i was offline and most important, why the i emergency jump right in that anomaly, it was just the (un)luck? Whatever, i wait for the answer from CCP, until then i go to do something to relax, maybe i will mine or rat...
PS: I will revenge on Drifters!!!

That look
In EVE, first time i was impressed by the graphics. It was so good, i knew the game (even if it was 12 years old) couldn't look like Tetris but still... It was so detailed but my (crappy) PC still could run it on almost max settings and i was like hit by lightning.
Sometimes i am sad because i don't enjoy the scenery like i did when i played first times...

Finally a... Helios!
I am a bit ashamed that i have been doing for more than 6 months and only now i am able to fly a covops ship (and a stealth bomber) and i trained for it just because my corp leader said that is mandatory to be able to fly a stealth bomber as soon as posible so i put skills to train and went to do FW.
As i was AFK for like 4 days, when i came back to check skill queues i discovered that i have only 2 weeks and 2 days (lol) left on main character so even if i will be able to gather like 1mil LP on FW character i will probably won't be able to buy/sell soon enough to PLEX main (i have more than a month on Pierre and i wait for t2 things to be trained).
This means that i need to explore a bit (a bit more) so i fit up a Helios and headed to Providence to look for some sites but as it was before down time (and lack of time) i did only one relic site (around 16mil in loot). My goal (hope i can actually don't be too lazy to finish it) is to make 1-2bil in 16 days by explorating more or less than 2 hours per day. Will see if i manage to fill up the goal.

Gambling in Jita
Most of community says that local in Jita is awful, worthless etc. I had the same opinion until last Wednesday when i had to do some market things in Jita.
A guy tried a contract scam (over priced item) and i said that the scam was really weak then a bunch of other guys (we dominated the chat for like half an hour) begun to speak about how weak are some scams and then a guys showed up with a game: he was selling (in contracts) items far more cheap than on market.
First was a bunch of Slicers a 1mil, it was true, there were 1mil and almost bought all except the one that was 1bil, whatever. Next he tried with cheap Confessors and overpriced Coercers, here i could get 1 Confessor but i also got an over priced Coercer.
Then the game stopped, i quick sold the items (made like 10mil profit) and log out. Overall it was a funny experience and if can do it again i would do it.

To TierV and beyond!
Militia often do fleets of all kind, mostly for capturing plexes or for bashing iHubs (we almost hit t5 and our LP income is greatly increased by this). For me, first type of fleets is more interesting as we actually may have a bit of PvP and i have a chance. This type of fleet we did this morning and it went very well for me as i got my first two kills ever in EVE, here are they:
Of course i couldn't take the Garmur just by myself but the Inquisitor could be an easy target at it wasn't even fitted. Speaking of FW, i think i will haul (or get someone to haul) the stuff i buy from LP store to Jita so as it will sell a lot faster (even if i make a little profit)
PS: So far i made more than 150mil from FW with a 1 and 1/2 weeks old character, i love FW!

Scan Pierre, scan!
In EVE, especially when you explore, fw or in almost any thing that requires to undock and go to a less safe place. I did a hell lot of exploration and now i am dancing with fw so d-scan is mandatory in both of them. Usually, i don't d-scan if i am alone in the system (or with friends) but i am starting to scan even if i am solo in the system, the paranoia is strong when you know you can't hit back most of the times. Even if i am starting to be paranoid, d-scan is a really good method to see what's coming to you and if you can/want to fight it.

The difference between EVE's community and others
Any game has a community around it. For those games that focus on multiplayer the community is an important part of the game (more important than for singleplayer game). Most of the games (focused on multiplayer) out there are pretty easy to handle even by kids (i don't have problems with kids) and this can lead to less... fun in game.
Let's take some examples: League of Legends, Call of Duty, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, DoTA and many more are quite easy to be handled by kids and kids don't have the best patience so if the game isn't going how they want (this rule applies to some adults too) they start to rage or to quit the game, in generally spoiling your game.
The complexity of EVE is a good thing in this thing as by that the community is "filtered" by most of ragers and other game-spoiling dudes (the subscription method also filter the community as most of the kids aim for free games).
Until now i meet only nice people in EVE (ignoring trolls, but still no rager or idiot players) with which i could laugh and get over real life problems (a girl from a chat was suffering from depression and the guys in chat were really cool and nice with her and supported her - this happened in November 2014).
In final i want to say that i haven't met a community like EVE's one (maybe TF2's community) and i am proud that i can be a part of it.

EVE, you are drunk
2 days ago EVE was drunk. Me and others couldn't search for other players, when we searched in "People&places" a character name (mostly our alts), the game told us that those characters don't exists. OK we said and we went back to our business.
Second bug was when i tried to jump to another system. All went fine until the gate warped me back in the system where i already was ( A > B, returned to A). Asked other guys if they ever got this bug, seems i was the only one.
The third and the last one was the most annoying. The launcher didn't want to show me the log in screen and sometimes it told me that i was not connected to internet (i was). Restarted it several times, same errors. Tried to "Repair" the launcher, but the repair process blocked. i finally succeeded to log in after i restarted the PC.
A short first post, more to come, until then, what bugs did you encountered in EVE?
